Matt Harris has over 25 years’ experience in the property sector including originally as a partner and director of a small architectural practice in New Zealand, through to Urban Design, Development Management and Development Consultancy. His property development experience has primarily evolved around facilitation and delivery of all housing typologies, from volume kitset housing, high-end coastal housing, and multi residential mixed-use developments. Matt has also worked on government led transport oriented developments, and complex public land transactions, including business case preparation and funding submissions which ultimately enable project delivery.
Matt has strong analytical and strategic approach to projects ensuring full transparency across project teams and a genuine partnership approach to ensure optimal outcomes for all stakeholders. As a property professional, his success is measured by gaining total project alignment across multiple stakeholder interests through clear and timely communication.
Matt is currently the ‘ Acting Director of Property’ at Housing Choices overseeing the delivery of HCA’s national development pipeline, ensuring the delivery of sustainable, high-quality assets that will continue to meet the needs of HCA’s tenants for years to come.
